Au revoir

Readers, I have decided to put all my time into finalizing my first collection for the time being. Maintaining a blog is time consuming and I do not feel that I neither have the time, nor the inspiration for writing the amount of contributions that are necessary to have a "quality blog".

I will relaunch the blog in a different format on the future web page for my clothing line later on this spring.

Golden Globe favourites

Awards season also means a lot of fashion inspiration. Some of my favourites at the Golden Globe this year:

Julia Roberts in vintage Yves Saint Laurent dress and neclace from Van Cleeps & Arpels.

Emily blut in Dolce & Gabbana gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Ferragamo clutch, and Diane Kruger in Christian Lacroix gown, Chanel jewelry and Raven Kauffman clutch.

Some more fur...

I am really into fur at the moment (not that surprising after 1 month of minus 10-15 degrees outside). An easy way of spicing up a boring trench coat is to add a fur collar as seen on La Moss. One good thing is that fur is really easy to find in vintage stores.

Favourite spring collections - Prada

I think this is Miuccia Prada at her very best. The mix of sharp silhouettes and high-tech looking material still turns into a very feminine collection.

Should I stay or should I go?

Temperature is showing -10 degrees and I am very close to jumping on a plane to Phuket for a week of vacation at this place...

Something grey for spring?

On my wish list for spring is a grey bag like the Alexander Wang Rocco Mini Duffel or the small Matelasse leather hobo from Miu Miu.

If you want to invest in classic, unique and feminine pieces then head to the nearest Emporio Armani store. I love these two looks from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

Post-christmas wrapping

Scarfes are accessories that are worth spending a bit extra on. You can never go wrong with a classic Missoni or a leopard print scarf. Just look at the LVMH leopard print cashmere stole, still going strong years later.
