Snoods
This season's alternative to wool scarves are fur snoods like the one from Burberry below. If you are a handy-woman, then buy a piece of fake fur (alternatively use real or vintage), some linen and sew together a tube. If you do not feel like doing handicraft then just click into Net-a-Porter, or get a wool snood as seen here.
